• Wine-Down Wednesday: 1/2 price on all bottles of wine.
• Happy hour, every day 4-6 p.m. at the bar: half-price well drinks, beer and signature cocktails; $2 off wine by the glass.

• Happy hour (listed Sun.-Thu. 2-6 p.m.): $3 domestic bottles, $6 double well drinks, 1/2-price cheese bread.

Heat’s website has conflicting times. It lists Wednesday hours as 4-9 p.m., so the 2 p.m. happy hour start can’t apply today, and a note says “all daily specials begin at 6pm” even though the pizza special is listed for 4-6 p.m. Call 205-632-3282 before you go.

What is the cheapest way to do tonight?

Catch Innisfree’s $1-off beer before 4 p.m., then go to FIVE between 4 and 6 p.m. for half-price drinks at the bar. If you’re splitting with friends, a half-price bottle of wine at FIVE or a $12 pizza at Heat (4-6 p.m., dine in) stretches a budget furthest. See the full Tuscaloosa bars guide for more spots.

Game week ahead: Alabama is off this Saturday, Oct. 31. The next football game is at LSU on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC. Read the Alabama at LSU preview.

Get home safe. You must be 21 or older to drink. UA’s 348-RIDE service is at 205-348-7433, and rideshare apps are another option. Never drive after drinking.
