No. 1 Arkansas, No. 12 Illinois and No. 46 South Carolina tied for first at 868 (4 over), 17 shots ahead of the Crimson Tide. William Jennings led Alabama at 1-over 217 and tied for 11th.

Alabama posted 292 and 293 over the first two rounds, then slipped with a 300 on the final day. The 15-team field was a strong one: 11 teams ranked in the top 50 and five in the top 15.
The Tide could make birdies. Alabama had 47, the second-most in the field, and Jennings led the team with 12. Nick Gross tied for second in the field in par-5 scoring at 7 under. Jennings moved up nine spots on Monday, and his 71 was the only under-par round by an Alabama golfer that day.
